How long does it take for car companies to produce hybrid cars? - new hybrid cars

How long does it take for a car company (and those who do not develop now ...) to own hybrid cars? Mostly hybrid trucks.

Also, how long does it take for the hybrid technology's create something new?

GM and Chrysler already have the technology to build trucks with hybrid drive. Back a few years ago, GM, Daimler-Chrysler (back when both companies merged), and BMW all come together to develop the 2-Mode hybrid transmission and is used in production vehicles. It took 2 years to develop the system in 2 different ways.

GM put in the 2-mode hybrid Tahoe and Yukon hybrids and hybrid Escalade. Chrysler Aspen Hybrid is stopped in his (the building two months ago because he did not) take off. Daimler / Mercedes Benz, the 2-track placed next to a vehicle, but made no announcement. And BMW is the system put in mode 2 at its next SUV X6 ActiveHybrid.
