Air Travel With Cats How Do I Move Two Very Travel-averse Cats Long Distance?

How do I move two very travel-averse cats long distance? - air travel with cats

We review previous answers on this subject, and I'm not sure anything can help me. The last time I went to one of my cats, I had the vet him an oral sedative, put it in the car and began to cry and scream incessantly for 20 hours a trip. Now I picked up a second cat who hates traveling and performing as the second, which sees a company of Kitty, of course, that this is a very uncomfortable journey, especially during the summer. This would also drive a car, and sometimes does not allow pets in their vehicles. I felt that air transport as an alternative, but 1) messages from the airline negligence caused the death of pets in the baggage that has worried me and 2) I read in an earlier response that the price is $ 250 for each cat and I just do not lose more than $ 500 more, I'm happy if I pay for this trip (Minneapolis and Boston) in general. Are there other options that may be more effective? I'm baffled.

I know where you live .... always on the bumper to bumper traffic on a hot summer day with the air in MAX, window mounted down, lowered his head into the fresh air ... Nothing to do with experience.

This was our first trip, and only one hours. The next was about 900 miles in winter, with frost factor below zero.

Do not say that the owners sell pets. Cover the back of a leaf before the burden of the family. Then simply wash the car for a good working car or clean the inside. As for his little back pain, drugs! This is your first line of defense. Talk to your veterinarian about using a different than last time.

Ashley (my little pain) usually within a few minutes to perform, but the drug was so good that he seemed really stoned, and not at all. If the drug disappeared in the darkness, and stood a little quiet.

I removed the food dish of the day, so that only water. In the system, at least (Fin). I noticedd directly from the unit no longer just for gas, which also double for my personal off Pitt. Feed me, single window unit.

You may also be renting a van instead of a car. Put the kids as much as you, and turn on the radio. This will also give you more space to these tasks in the near future.

Packing List:
1 carrier, large dog can both shares the space and comfort each other.

Many of confetti. This will provide the traction, it is also easy to change if necessary.

Littler small size of the box. Many cats that the box in the car.

Disposable Gloves

Garbage bags

Paper towels

Cleaner Spray Bottle

A new CAN impact of Febreze Air (for the same company that things) not only for decoration equipment kills the smell of perfume the stench. Personally, I think the coin is better. ;-)

And above all, a bottle of wine!

Upon arrival, unpack children, locking them up in a room and make wine. He won!

Talk to your veterinarian about sedatives do not work, maybe you can give something more, and before saving deficate cat in their retreat, try the company time, they can actually leave and hence prior to departure and not all the way feel to the car park to be cleaned, you may want your cat in them not only the car full of cat hair or cat urine odor.

Ask a look at the airline, may be the prices. I traveled by plane from Europe, with five animals (cost: $ 240.00 each, total $ 1200.00) with no problems. The secret is to put a lock on the door of the cabin, and screws firmly to the company itself: Observe all relevant information outside the company with a permanent marker, and the name and emergency number. (Print this same information on paper and a photo of your cat, and the first in a Ziploc bag.) Upstairs, in addition to language, writing: "Warning: May be bitten by force. Please keep your finger outside the company." If you get the computer support, you can shredded newspaper in the back of it, "accidents" to have your cat in May. (One of my feet.) I do not recommend sedation for air, just in case. Sedation for traveling by car is good, but not completely reversed.

Hope this helps.
